Quick dinner idea...

After a long day at work today plus grocery shopping on the way home, I'm pooped! Joe has been working part-time in the evenings, which leaves me and Lauren to fend for ourselves for dinner. I picked this up from the frozen foods section and it was really good...


The package says it's a meal for two and it was just enough for me and Lauren, plus lunch leftovers for Lauren for tomorrow. Here's how it looks in the pan. All you do is heat and eat, which was just about all I could muster today. On a scale of 1 to 10 for frozen foods, I'm give this beef with broccoli at least a 9!

Weekend stuff...

We were at Lauren's favorite store yesterday, the Mickey Store...aka the Disney Store, and I couldn't pass up this cute little Minnie dress on the sale rack. I thought I was doing really well, until the women at the register had to run and grab the matching flip flops and sunglasses which were on sale for 2 for $6. Since when did they start up selling at the Disney Store?
If you're like us and have hair clips all over the place, you might need this. It's a Snapware three part container with a handle on top and it's PERFECT for all the clips that don't fit on the hanging ribbon thingy. Plus, as you can see, Lauren loves it...



She's now carrying it all over the place. It's funny how the simplest of things is usually the biggest hit.

Happy Mother's Day!

On this Mother's Day, I'm counting my blessings. This is the 2nd year I get to celebrate with my sweet girl.

I'm also thinking of all my friends who are still waiting to become parents and I'm hoping that this time next year will find you with a sweet little one to call your own.

Fun at the Zoo

I wanted to post some pics from our trip to the Phoenix Zoo last weekend. The weather was beautiful...it was a really nice day.
