We made barbeque chicken pizza for dinner using the Pioneer Women's pizza crust recipe from her cookbook. It was so good! We baked it halfway on a cookie sheet and then lifted it off with the pizza peel and put it straight on the oven rack. This helped the crust crisp up a bit on the bottom.
I had always wanted to make my own pizza crust, but had a fear of any recipe with yeast. Since conquering my fear with PW's cinnamon rolls, I decided to give this a try. I'm glad I did and can't wait to try this crust recipe with other toppings. Pesto, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil are calling to me.

Oh, wow, this looks yummy! I'm gonna have to try this... probably this weekend, when we are snowed in FOR THE FOURTH STINKING TIME. Thanks for sharing the link!
yummmmmmmmm!!!
Looks delicious! I've always wanted to be able to make pizza from scratch. And I've learned a new cooking term... pizza peel! (Where have I been?)
That pizza looks really yummy. I will need to try making that sometime. I have never made homemade crusts. Our local store sells a big ball of yeast dough in a bag and I just roll it out and put toppings on and it smells/tastes wonderful
YUMMY, looking forward to making it this week. thanks for sharing, I love the Pioneer Woman I must get her cook book. take care, Shauna
